The Vidourle is a fantastic playground for lovers of tranquillity and outdoor sports.

This river that forms the boundary between Gard and Hérault flows past the campsite, and its banks are perfect for relaxing. Much calmer than the waters of the Hérault, the Vidourle is perfect for stand-up paddleboarding.

You can also hire a canoe and paddle along in complete safety. Our partner Kayak Hérault will provide you with all the equipment you need. For those who want to go up in the world, there are two other activities to discover.

The Via-Ferrata du Vidourle, is one of the finest in the Languedoc, offering an enchanting riverside setting.

The Via Ferrata du Vidourle will give you maximum thrills combined with magnificent panoramic views. Footbridges, rope bridges, zip lines, ladders and nets – there’s no shortage of possibilities here!

This via ferrata features an unusual route including rivers and cliffs. It overhangs the river most of the time and is accessible to most people. The Via Ferrata du Vidourle offers two routes which start from the same spot before splitting into two pathways.

The most strenuous part of the route includes a number of stretches which are at water level. The via ferrata du Vidourle is suitable for beginners. However, you do need to be in good physical condition and have the right equipment to complete the entire route.

The second route avoids the most difficult sections, making this via ferrata more accessible.

Located just 2 minutes from the 5-star Domaine de Massereau campsite, the “Roc de Massereau” adventure park offers an unforgettable experience.

On the banks of the Vidourle, the Roc de Massereau adventure park offers no fewer than 20 treetop adventure courses in Sommières.

The courses are accessible from the age of two, and are progressive so that the whole family can enjoy them together. The Roc de Massereau adventure park gives you access to almost 250 workshops and 230 platforms!

The Roc de Massereau adventure park is also home to fifty zip lines and three thrilling courses. You’ll even find a giant zip line that will take you from one department to another by crossing the river!
